Principle Principle




Transmitter Side: The high-intensity green LED emits high-power green light, which is collimated and parallelized by the collimating lens. When the green light hits the measured object, it casts a shadow.
Receiver Side: The telecentric optical system projects the shadow of the measured object onto the CCD image sensor. In the high-speed linear CCD, a precise image of the measured object is formed. The image is then processed and calculated by the digital edge detection processor to obtain accurate measurement dimensions.

Uses a CCD telecentric imaging optical system.

LCG series adopts a CCD telecentric optical imaging system for faster sampling of the target object's outer profile, with a sampling frequency of up to 5kHz. High-speed sampling and a powerful DSP processor ensure stable data processing. This high sampling rate and response speed guarantee measurement accuracy and stability, providing stable results in a very short time. It also analyzes outer diameter variations and detects surface particle defects.

Main applications: ultra-fine wires, metal drawn wires, diamond wires, tungsten wires, optical fibers, nylon wires, enameled wires, etc.

  1. High-intensity green LED emits high-power green light.
  2. The collimator lens makes the light parallel and collimated for emission.
  3. The emitted light strikes the object, causing a shadow.
  4. The telecentric optical system projects the shadow onto the CCD image sensor.
  5. The accurate shadow image of the object is formed on the high-speed linear CCD.
  6. The digital edge detection processor processes and calculates the measurements.
